Installation:
WordPress 2.9.1 and above Copy the directory bp-classifieds to wp-content/plugins. Move the directory bp-classifieds/themes/classifieds to wp-content/themes/yourcurrenttheme. Activate the plugin site-wide Create a new WPMU blog where the datas will be stored. (This blog cannot be called classifieds). Access your main blog. Under Admin>Blogs, edit the new created blog and set the "Public" setting to "NO". (this is for removing the blog from the BuddyPress search results). Remove the first default post of that blog ("hello world"). Under BuddyPress>Classifieds, setup the Classifieds Component settings. If you want to have classifieds categories, add them data blog. If you want to have classifieds actions (will show tabs into your classifieds direction - eg. propositions,offers...), create them into the data blog then put their IDS in the component option.

Author: G.Breant Buddypress uses the Full Name core field to sort alphabetically or by letter the members. But maybe you are using this field as a "nickname" field... Use this plugin to replace the members names by their real names
Installation:
WordPress 2.8.5 and above Install the plugin into the plugin directory, and activate it site-wide Create three news fields that will be used by the plugins (ex. "Member name", "Member firstname","Member bothnames"). I suggest "Member name" to be a required field. Fill the values of those fields for your profile (the datas for at least one user are needed to setup the plugin options) Setup the Real Names plugin options in the admin menu, under the BuddyPress panel.
